As you will be aware the High Court delivered its 165 page judgement on the FCA Business Insurance test case on Tuesday, 15th September.

Although the case has been widely reported, the conclusions that various analysts have come to have been confusing and in some cases misleading.

Your Board is conscious of the need to come to a quick and fair decision based on a proper analysis and a discussion with the Mutual’s supporting insurers.

We anticipate being able to come back to you at some stage next week to provide you with the results of those deliberations and consultations.

The Retail Mutual, as ever, are happy to deal with any questions you may have in the meantime.
